multiple issues. please help dear warezians.

hello everyone,
i am having these issues in my windows 7 home basic, lenove z580 laptop. (for system configuration) please help,i think these are interconnected.
1) first it started with sudden drop in battery power.
my battery drops say 40% to 7% suddenly,i thought this might be a problem of battery,but when i did the battery health check up,i found it faultless, so i think this is some problem with my OS.
2)while checking remedies to it,i needed to open system properties,but when i tried opening it, it din’t open.
3) when i tried opening control pa/administrative tools/services it din’t open, typed service.msc in run bar,still it din’t open
4)tried running msconfig.exe,but it din’t start.
5)laptop is annoyingly slow.
6) just now tried opening paint for editing a screenshot,even its not starting.
please help.
(and one more thing, i tried checking this in faq help here,but din’t understand, “what is this secure links section?”)

Sounds like you have some nasty infections..
Do a scan with free Malwarebytes.
https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/
Also scan with you antivirus.
If you don’t have one you can get MSE for free.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/security-essentials-download
Hope that hits the you know what on the head or you may have to get more serious

I don’t recommend MSE, it found a virus on my PC and it wasn’t able to remove it.
I would recommend instead of it AVG Free or Avast.

thanks a lot. unfortunately nothing worked. restored the laptop. now everything seems fine.
