mouse double click is not working Help pls

I am having problem with my laptop ( toshiba ) and it seems when i double click on a file it does’nt open ..i can only select the file and open it by pressing on the enter button..

So it never works? Then you’ll have to take it to the shop cause there is probably a loose contact
also when i tap , nothing happens…could it be a software issue ?cz i plugged in my USB mouse and also did’nt work ! i can only mouve the cursor !
so wait when you try and double click it only selects the folder? if so do you have your double click settings set to fast…because if its on fast then that could be a problem….
