Mouse delays like crazy in games!

Alright so my mouse has been delaying in fps games, not lagging, slow moving, like totally delaying. I’ll move the mouse then about a second later it will make the move or just not move at all. It’s weird cause it just started happening a while ago, before this it was totally fine so I know it’s not my PC. I’ve tried another mouse and had the same result and I know it’s not the mouse sensitivity setting in the games.
I have XP, Geforce 9500 GT, AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual, 2 gigs or ram and a wireless logitech mouse & keyboard.

Sounds like interference with the signal somehow.
Have you tried with a wired mouse when you were testing with a different one?

yeah it was wired,

So all the action in-game is going on, except your mouse just locks up for a second or two? The entire screen doesn’t freeze?
Try using a different USB port on your system. It might be that specific port that is having an issue.

yeah it’s only the mouse, the game still runs and the keyboard works. the mouse moves fine too but it tweaks out and delays when i use the keyboard.
i uninstalled my keyboard/mouse drivers, installed the driver that came with my video card and still nothing changed.
i’m gonna try the usb ports on the front..
edit: i just noticed that in the menu of Assassins Creed, when i use the keyboard & mouse the mouse cursor appears in the top left of the screen and flashes.

You can use a wireless mouse. That can be a kinda helpful!

installed the driver that came with my video card
get the latest drivers from nvidia, uninstall those drivers ^, and install the latest
http://www.nvidia.com/page/drivers.html
then go into nvidia control panel under 3D settings and disable all anti-aliasing settings then try it
that 9500 is not a very good card and if the mouse is using hardware acceleration it has to wait to get rendered

this is the main thing to do with either drivers
but a 9 series card should work best with the latest
