Hello every one i need help with my desktop its crazy

can some one help me please… my desk top its acting crazy well the back ground is.. is just giving me a white screen and i only see the background for a few seconds when i restart the computer… then i get something like ” RESTORE MY ACTIVE DESKTOP” BUT when i clik to restore my desktp i get
“file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Administrator/Application%20Data/Microsoft/Internet%20Explorer/Desktop.htt”
can some one tell me please what to do… thank u so much

Have you tried deleting the desktop.htt file,or just try changing your screen resolution.you can then change it back if it works.

Try changing the background to a one that actually exists.

, you can repair your OS but that’s a long way, so use tune up utility to fix the errors.

Change your background to the Windows XP one, then change it back to your normal one.
