MKV File and Xbox 360 Streaming

August 2nd, 2016

Hi Folks,
I’ve Googled this so many times and found so many different answers I thought I would ask my friends at !!
I DL BRRIPS which are usually MKV files. I would like to stream these files from my PC to Xbox 360.
I use Tversity on the PC and already stream AVI’s without a problem.
Got the K Lite Codec Pack Full installed on the PC as well.
However, MKV files are not recognised by the sex box I have attempted to convert using various pieces of software but all seem to take hours to complete the conversion and sometimes the app crashes and the conversion fails So my question is – How do you do this successfully?
Should I expect the conversion to take hours? Is there a quick fix? What am I doing wrong?
You help, as always, is appreciated.
Don’t know why I never thought of this before I posted this thread but I searched WBB for answers and guess what……….found it . And the answer is no. At least it’s a no since the last post in Sept.
Is that still the case?

My relationship with it is purely plutonic

you can change the settings in tversity to transcode on the fly, but if your pc cant transcode fast enough, it wont play. best bet is to convert your mkv’s overnight using ‘any video converter pro.’ thats how i do it anyway, but now i will be trying mkvtovob as nikhill suggested, sounds much faster.
