Im ronning windows 7 & my median payer keeps crashing on me,Anyone have any suggestions on how i can correct this problem?

just use vlc or buy more ram?
possibly the video files you are trying to play could be corrupted

I had a new video card in yesterday,Along with 2 more gigs of memory
so i maxed out on 4 gigs,but as far as the codecs that very may be what i
need to do,i can find them on here,right?

Use the add and remove windows features section of the program to remove and reinstall media player youll have to reboot after adding/removeing it

Use VLC media player, it has all the codecs you’ll need.

after you do this, you should download and install VLC Media Player

Try Daum Pot Player. It is a very lightweight mediaplayer and has almost every codec possible built in it.

This right here ^^
VLC has all its own codec’s, plays almost everything with no issues at all.
or
K-Lite Codec Pack w/ MPC (Media Player Classic) is probably the only other option, MPC will rely on the K-Lite Codec’s, which makes it a good player.
I recommend staying away from stuff like kmplayer and potplayer.

Btw make sure you have latest version of drivers for your card.
