Make my own stripped down version of Vista?

How do people make those versions of vista lite?
I want a version with Media Center, flip 3D and Aero but get rid of all the drivers and other bloated junk.
Is there a lot of stuff I can delete from my full ultimate install without hurting it? Are there any unnecessary services I can disable? It takes up like 250 megs of ram at idle its ridiculous when you only have 512mb.

Vlite.jelly , turn off superfetch @ services.msc , if you have 512mb ram.
