Laptop Graphics Card help?

I have a choice between the Dell XPSM5130 and the Asus G2. My main problem is the Asus G2 has a X1700, which isn’t bad, but is not DX10 compatible, however the Dell XPS M1530 has a 8600GT, which they say is better. My thought :
The Dell XPS M1530 isn’t a great laptop but the Graphics card is better than the Asus G2. The Asus G2 look stunning is very loud and has excellent cooling and i am very keen on buying it, but i skeptical on the Ati X1700 which isn’t DX10 compatible.
Any advice on other laptops. Is it possible it change a GC for a laptop, (ie) put a 8600GT inside the Asus G2.

Its not possible to change the graphics card for a laptop and the Dell one certainly does have the better graphics card… It depends on the other system specs of the laptops. your decision
