[Jailbreaking Ipod Touch 3.1.1] I need help jailbreakin

August 5th, 2016

I’m not quite familiar with all the 3.2.1 or the 1.2 upgraded version bullshit talk that they keep mentioning on the websites and quite frankly, for everytime I want to find an Ipod Touch tutorial, it always seems to be a jailbreak specifically for the Iphone.
Has anyone successfully jailbroken their ipod touch and are able to give me a brief rundown of what to do specifically. I’ve tried all afternoon and it’s ~love~ me to death having to find out that I can’t even install the apps that I want etc.
I have the latest version of Itunes (9), my version is 3.1.2
Can anyone help me please? Make it so that I can understand as well!
Thanks.

Ok, I did your tutorial and got all the way up to the part where it wanted me to add the source;
http://cydia.hackulo.us
I typed that in and I got this message:
“Did not find repository
The indicated repository could not be founbd. This could be because you are trying to add a legacy installer repository (these are not supported). Also, this interface is only capable of working with exact repository URLs. If you host a repository and are having issues please contact the author of Cydia with any questions you may have”
and all it has is an “ok” button which then proceeds to do nothing. It doesn’t even add the source I typed in.

Here’s what you’ll have to do, mate.
1. Download ‘Blackra1n’ from:
www.blackra1n.com
Run ‘Blackra1n’. Hit jailbreak and wait for around 30 seconds (yep, 30 seconds is all it takes to jailbreak).
2. Open Blackra1n on your iPhone (a black rain drop icon), Select ‘Cydia’ > ‘Install’.
3. After the restart > tap ‘Blackra1n’ icon (again) > tap ‘Uninstall Blackra1n’ (optional).
4. Open ‘Cydia’ > ‘Manage’ > ‘Sources’ > ‘Add’.
5. Now add this source:
http://cydia.hackulo.us/
6. Search for ‘AppSync’ and install it.
7. You’re all done! Drag cracked apps into iTunes and sync them or use ‘Installous’ (also available on hackulo.us, it enables you to download apps directly to your device) to download them.
8. Celebrate… 😀
Hope this helps. Cheers!

If it’s 3g you’ll have to hook it upto pc to turn on coz it’s tethered
Answer #8

Everytime you turn the ipod off, you have to re-run blackra1n power on each time
