IPAD Merging Movie Files Help Pls….

I have an iPAD1 (jailbroken). What, I am trying to do is to merge multiple MP4 files (around 40 files) into a single file and use iTunes to copy to iPAD1.
I tried many software’s like Video Joiner/Ultra Video Joiner/Free Video Joiner to join multiple MP4 files. I joined all the files (around 40 files) into a single file (over 7GB), I am unable to copy to iPAD using iTunes. I can load the file into the Library (under Movies) in iTunes, but when, I sync it does not copy the single movie file (over 7GB) to iPAD.
Are there any limitation of the video file size for iPAD? Do, I need to use any other software that can merge multiple MP4 files into a single file and copy the file to iPAD using iTunes? Appreciate your help.
