You haven’t been too clear as to what you are trying to accomplish except for blocking IP addresses.
If you have a lot to block for using P2P or something similar PeerBlock is fairly good, it’s a new version of PeerGuardian.

IP blockers do not provide complete protection, though.
Answer #7

IP blockers do not provide complete protection, though.

Very true! They are not 100% reliable and you could still get caught. If someone messes up the IP Blocklists or members of the copyright protection organisations use different IP addresses then you could get caught! All they have to do is download the same IP blocklists and find IP addresses not on the list then they won’t get blocked and your IP can be logged and a court appearance/very large fine could then happen. They could just use dial up to keep changing their IP addresses, the connection doesn’t have to be fast to log the IP addresses.
A more reliable way is to use a VPN or high speed anonymous proxy server but these are not free but do provide the best protection, There are quite a few that offer P2P services for this very purpose but choose wisely!

so what do you suggest i do? if the ip blocker programs or the proxy ones dont work, then what is the safest way to use torrents?
Answer #9
Find a good VPN which doesn’t keep logs/won’t give out your IP info. They are not free however but shouldn’t cost too much. I don’t have one to recommend as I keep meaning to search for one myself but other more important things keep getting in the way.
