IP address conflict

"The system has detected an IP address conflict with another system on the network. Network operations on this system may be disrupted as a result. More details are available in the system event log. Consult your network administrator immediately to resolve the conflict."
I got it just now
I cannot access internet after that but after i restart my internet connection it went back to normal. Does this mean hacker on my computer?

hey! mate… which pool is you ISP connection.. I mean are you using a dynamic IP or static IP…

No…it does not mean its a Hacker…its means that someone is using the same IP as you are…So it shows conflict…if it shows conflict again…use this

are there people who use your Internet connection? Like family?
Have you setup static IP addresses.

Mate…. Your PC is on LAN network. That means, one or more computer is connected to the same gateway, i.e. your internet connection and one another PC is feeded the same IP what you have. If the gateway is configured as DHCP, try to get the automatic setting for your IP address.
More details needed to reach the exact solution. Please provide.
