Iogear Product + USB help

April 24th, 2014

Does anyone know if this IOGEAR product
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001BVXI6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

will be compatible with a RAZER USB mouse and keyboard?
Also, if anyone could please recommend an efficient/decent looking 16gb USB 3.0 flash drive, it would be appreciated.

Don’t see why not.

But do note the following:
1. While USB 3.0 is much faster than 2.0,Flash drives come with varying read/write speeds and none of em fully utilize USB 3.0’s
bandwidth.
2. This may be obvious but just in case,You’ll only benefit from USB 3.0 if your PC supports it,Otherwise it’d run @ 2.0 and will be slower.

I only wanted to confirm that it would as I’ve read about problems with KVM switches not allowing full functionality with certain products.
My current build only has USB 2.0 ports however this shall be more of a, for the future purchase, I understand that it won’t run as fast without using a USB 3.0 port, I was also looking at this one

Go for it,It has much faster read/write speeds (on USB3 at least),On USB2 they’re pretty much on par.

If you have a desktop with a PCI-E X1 slot or a laptop with an Expresscard slot you could add a USB 3.0 expansion card to it.
