Internet connection keeps dropping only on browser.

My internet connection keeps dropping only when i am surfing, otherwise the internet connection is good on the desktop. My messengers and while downloading IDM works fine without any pause or drops.
Only when i am surfing the internet, every 5-10 mins the internet is does not work for surfing.. This happens in all the browsers.. IE, Mozilla, Chrome. There is no virus in my system.
Pls guide.
Are you using wireless internet?
The thing is.. it could seem like only your browsers are affected by this, but the actual thing is that when you are disconnected from the internet for a very short time you wont notice it @ MSN or IDM they will appear to be working just fine.
But when browsing the net you will notice a network flux way faster, if internet drops for like 1sec, some images won’t load so you will notice internet being dropped down faster.
A way to “test” my theory is to go on youtube and just play videos, and even when internet drops out, the videos will keep loading(buffering).
Either its a fault with your WiFi Router or ur Internet Router, or the settings are messed up, or there is a virus in ur system.
The wifi router is working fine. cos i have a latop working on wifi through the same router. And there is no problem with that. Its working without interruption.
Youtube also buffers during the brower drops.
Then there might be a Virus in ur system
