Installing portal 2

Halp
I got SKIDROW version of portal 2 like….4 months ago
Yet when I install it is says, “Installing Postal 2”
Is this supposed to be like that?

Just to be clear: You downloaded Portal 2 but while installing it says Postal 2?
I havn’t installed the game but it could be just a spelling mistake by SKiDROW while making the installer. Does the game work though? that’s what you really want anyway

Just download another rip of warez-bb im sure someone will have a working copy up

BTW, the ‘Postal’ title is a mistake in the installer

Post a screenhsot of the installer and the installation files (ISO, etc)
Also, if you don’t exactly and precisely include the problem/error that u face, no one will be able to give a precise answer. Even if the name comes up as postal 2, the game installs right, but then when u try to start it, what error do u face? Plz specify.

Well, when I first installed Portal 2, it went fine (installation, not gameplay), yet I applied the SKIDROW crack, started the game with portal.exe and it started, valve thing came up, then the source enginge screen, then the loading screen for the menu… but when it was about to go TO the menu, data execution shut it down saying it was a threat.
So I disabled data execution, and the game still shuts down.
I tried the SKIDROW launcher, but it still doesn’t run. Is it because of my bad computer? or am I doing something wrong?

Download New May 10-SKIDROW Update 4/5 game patch and crack
AFTER installing Portal 2, install the above update
Then from the downloaded file, find the folder SKIDROW\Portal.2.Update.4.and.5-SKIDROW\SKIDROW\portal2\bin
From that folder copy the files client.dll and server.dll and paste them in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Valve\Portal 2\portal2\bin
Then from the folder Portal.2.Update.4.and.5-SKIDROW\SKIDROW copy all the files except portal 2 folder and paste it to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Valve\Portal 2
Overwrite everytime it asks.
Now play Portal

I have tried update 4/5 and 3.
IT STILL DOESN’T WORK!
My cuz gave it 2 me… I think he gave me a corrupted one, or a fake one

Even AFTER installing the update you need to crack it. Instruction are on my previous post above.

Yes… I did everything… My PC isn’t that great in itself…. only 1.7GB Ram… 120GB HD…

Just a thought, have you tried disabling your Anti-virus? Maybe it’s causing the crack some problems

Yes i have tried disableing anti-virus… I only have malwarebytes
