Installing a game

Just spent 2 hours downloading the last remnant (Prophet Version) and when i try installing it i get this message “unable to write to specified folder” I tried changing the file path and turning off the Read Only option on the file path and it still wont install??? anyone any ideas i’m kinda new to pc gaming

Long shot..But is your drive formatted to fat32 or ntfs?

I forgot to add i’m mounting the image with magic iso

In what folder are you trying to install the game?
Maybe you can use Daemon Tools instead of MagicISO to mount the image.

tried alcohol 120 to mount, and still no luck
there is a reloaded version i’ll download and if that does not work i’ll trow myself out the window

Are you sure the game installer itself isn’t broken, and cannot extract do to corrupted files?

@ LIONDEN my drive is formated to NTFS
@ solyendo I dont want to download 10gb again on the off chance the installer was corrupted during download, my isp has throttled my speed now anyway it would take forever, thanks for replying though

Mount the ISO with Daemon tools then copy all contains in your HDD, then Run setup from your HDD.
