IDM Question/Help

Is there a way i can ‘turn off’ IDM?
What i mean is that when i go to sites with music playing in the background or a site like Myspace a popup comes up asking me to download the song. How can i stop it form doing that?

are u using internet explorer or firefox ?
go to “options” ..then “IDM Download Panel for web-players in browsers” and uncheck all the extensions I hope you understand ..

I understand what you said but i can’t find any “IDM Download Panel for web-players in browsers”.

try this. Go to IDM>options>General tab>Under Integrate IDM into browsers uncheck the one your using

How will that affect the “Downlaod with IDM” option when you right click a link?

well i just tested it by removing it in association with FF, restarted browser and its still there and still works. I think its supposed to just stop the popping up of use IDM to download but the right click method still works

Download –> Options –> General Tab –> “Keys…” button –> Use a key to prevent downloading with IDM.
Then when you open the website, hold down you specific key and it won’t download the music.
Alternitavely, you can remove “*.mp3” from the extension files not to download
