Most languages don’t have “made my day” expression. Unless you take it literally which still makes f all sense.

I believe that “Du har reddet min dag” means “You have saved my day” and have the same meaning and would be fairly common in use. (I’m norwegian, so I’m not 100% sure – only about 99,5% )
Or “Nu bliver det en god dag!” which literately means “Now it’s going to be a good day” could be used too.

Very good Norwegian guy! He’s got it more or less You could say “Det(that)/du(you) har reddet min dag!”, which would probably be the closest you could get to that “saying” in Danish.
