How to lower down the image size?

Please help me converting the size to 11kb so i could put it for a avatar. ^^

Photoshop and use the option..Save for Web…

Photoshop -> File -> Save for Web (ctrl + shift + alt +s).

Also make it 9.99k not 10kb. But usually when you use photoshop to Save For Web and set it to jpeg it reduces it to 7kb or 8kb if not you reduce the amount of pixels/colors in it on the right hand menu.
