How to burn BIG XBoX 360 games? >4GB
August 9th, 2016
For eg the Assassins Creed game is 6 gigs..
But the DVD’s available in the market are only 4.5 GB…
Sure dual layers are 8 GB but all the pirated DVDs i buy for the 360 are single side burnt… So can the 360 actually read dual layer dvd’s?
N how do i go about burning these huge discs?
Also which software do u recommend the best for 360 game burning??
Umm, make sure you have a DualLayer capiable DVD burner, then get DVD-R DL’s. Burn your game using software such as PowerISO/Nero/etc.. Make sure you choose the slowest burn rate (1x – 2x)

That wrong, well at least the burning part is. First off all xbox 360 games are dual layer dvds. Any xbox 360 game you download will be around 6-8GB so there is no way to burn it on a single layer dvd. The program that you should use is imgburn or one of these clonecd, xbox backup creator etc. You have to set a layerbreak to burn the propley and that is why most games will have a small .dvd file that dose that automaticly for you. I don’t think nero can do that.
Dual layer doesn’t mean both sides of the disc are used.

You MUST burn your 360 games to dual layer media…it’s all that iXtreme recognizes any way.
Please treat all members with respect.

yeah prozacs right the dual layer discs are single sided and you only need a dvd burning program like cd-clone to burn the .dvd files because if you are stealth patching a disk in for eg xdvdmulleter you will produce a .dvd file which then u can burn in what ever will recognize it

Alright, thanks for correcting that, I never actually burned a 360 game… Also, Even if your game will fit on a 4GB DVD, you NEED to use a DL DVD.. The 360 won’t pick up anything else.

On this note I suggest you go out and buy Verbatim’s. I haven’t had 1 single bad copy yet, and I’ve made about 23..
