How much power do i need for my computer??
Specs..
GPU: Gigabyte 280 GTX 1GB GDDR3
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.80 GHz Q9550
MB: ASUS Striker II Extreme
RAM: 4 X Corsair Dominator XMS3 DDR3 2048MB 1800MHz Memory
HDD: 2 X Seagate Barracuda 7200.11- 1TB 7200 RPM
BDR:Pioneer BDR-202BK Retail Blu-ray Disc Writer

Maybe not “More than enough” for his system but it’s about right. The GTX 280 is a power guzzler.
All depends on the quality of the PSU

I’d say 650 W just in case. You can find one for like…50 bucks or less at ebay i think…last time i checked [yesterday]

That depends on the model. Sure cheaper 500w psu’s work but for gaming its a no go. They cant power the card properly and will die so you need strong named ones like Corsair, TT, Antec, etc

A 500W PSU would be enough, but I’d play it safe and go 600W+.
