How do I rip games from websites?

Hey all, just wondering if anyone’s had any experience with ripping games from websites.
I mean like, Java games that are played in the web browser.
I managed to rip one game the other day, but it didn’t actually work. I loaded the .SWF file and there was a loading sign, but nothing actually ever loaded. (stuck)

back when i use to hack flash games, i’d always go into mozilla firefox, view the sources, and save the game, from that point, you can either download some software called flasm16 to hack it or use CHEAT ENGINE. cheat engine is easy, just watch a TUT.

and to play them you need to download a .swf player, you can find one on here or google.

But I have no idea what to actually change in order to make it work. At the moment the swf file opens and gets stuck on the loading screen.
