How do I find my post in a 2000 page long topic?

Okay If you are using Internet Explorer or Firefox than go to the Menu Bar and press Edit, It should come up with copy, paste, cut and all that stuff. Underneeth those it should say Find on this page. Press that. A little bar will appear and type in a sentence of keyword from your post in there and press next.
It will automaticly find it for you and highlight it. Shortcut for this is CTRL+F or for a Mac its CMD+F
I dont remember what I had posted 2 years ago mate…..
Also this above method will not work for ALL the 2000 pages like for eg in Popularity Contest….
Haha Okay.. maybe search your username? or the name posted with the topic.
as far as i know, its impossible.. unless somebody quoted what you wrote then you can search your username.. [within the topic, of course]
maybe Mods/Admins could help on this
Well just search your username. It might come up. Give it a try. Let me know how it goes!
I searched my username in “search” I searched for ‘Message Text’ and displayed it as ‘Posts’ BUT
then still my posts dont get displayed obviously as the users posts who have posted a message with my name in it only get displayed

down the post there is on your right a little bulb that says “enter keywords” and then you could click “search this topic”.. might be the thing you’re looking for.. because control+find (find option) won’t be much good to you since it only searches the page it’s on..

yeh that’s pretty annoying, has happened to me before too. but maybe if you search for you username then go back a few pages with CTRL+F you can find it. Since if someone quoted you, your quote can;t be too far behind.

^^ yea mate but again what I said was an example…. so someone quoting “” was just an example….not necessary someone has quoted my username….. and yes it is pretty annoying…
