Help with subtitles

Hi,
Can someone help me.. how can i put french subtitles into a movie instead of the english ones??i have the subtitles file and the vobsub program but it still wont work

If you’re using DIrectVobSub and a movie then make sure that the subtitles are in the same folder as the movie and that they have the same file name, for example:
Move: filename.avi
Subtitle: filename.srt

You don’t need DirectVobSub to view subtitles. They are viewable in most Media Players without it providing the subtitle file is named the same as the movie like says.
You can actually load any subtitle file into Media Player Classic no matter what it’s filename is, but it will only automatically pick up subs with the same filename.
