HD or BR Rips Watching On PS3?

I stream movies to my ps3 and then copy them to the hard drive before I watch them. The couple of mkv movies I have tried doing this with don’t show up on my ps3 when I scan the folder for movies.
is there any way to be able to watch these movies on my ps3 in hd quality without burning them like I do my avi movies?

If you have an External HD , t use MKV2VOB to convert the .mkv files to .vob , transfer the files to your External HD then the PS3 will be able to read them.

You got a link to the program? and I do have an external HD but just out of curiousity why does it have to be an external HD?

Nope unfortunately I don’t , External HDs have a lot more space , thats why
All I do is convert the file with MKV2VOB and then I use Tversity to stream it to my PS3

just stream your newly converted file, i do it just fine!
