GTA: San Andreas Save Game Folder

i just install GTA:SA but i can’t find the save game folder, i know it should be in the “My documents” need help how to access the save game folder.
i just played a single mission and saved it, still i can’t find the save game folder.
thank you in advance.

Should be in “My Documents” under the folder, “GTA San Andreas User Files”.

yes, the problem is it didnt appear in the my documents, cant find where it is.

Type in “search” , “GTA San Andreas User Files” . Maybe that help

i re-installed, still the same, did everything, im on xp btw. thank you all for the time to post here, i guess i have no choice to play again from the start.

Can’t you just creat that folder and paste the save game in there, maybe it will work. Well if it doesn’t, trying doesn’t hurt.

i dunno the folder name and the content, will try if anyone can give me the right filename for the folder and sub folders! =]

try this
C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\save game
create a folder rename it as “save game” on the above loaction
try to save the game

nah! still didn’t work, playing from the beginning again.

I have problems on windows 7, can’t manage to find the save game folder location :/

Download the game from different mirrors ?

yeh it usually saves it in my docuements or on windows 7 Documents if not go to C: click on users and see if its in your usernames folder

If you have a game saved in slot one then search the hard drive for:
gtasasf1.b
It is the filename of the saved game. The number denotes the slot the game was saved in.
