GTA IV Online with pre-owned version

I already have the original with me but sister wants to play online together, but obviously I can’t because we only have one disc. Would buying another be alright? whether it’ll be with my serial or the pre-owned
Don’t think so, not if the key has already been used.
Should be able to pick it up new for cheap as if you search online.
there was a russian website that you could get a key for signing up. and it could be used for gta 4.
cant remember what it was called tho. there was a thread on here with it actually.
