google.com not google.de

January 26th, 2020

The problem is not actually with only google, but with every website. I open imdb and then see the german language everywhere, same case with msn and many other websites. What i want is that the international or english version of the pages should open even though i am living in Germany. Is there any solution? I don’t want to use translators. And wouldn’t prefer to use hotspot shield or ultraproxy as well.
Answer #1
Download Chrome in English version and disable automatic translation….

I think you did not understand my question. I want to avoid german version of websites. If i type www.google.com in the searchbar, it returns www.google.de. I want the international english page.

Answer #4
As for Google this is the international version.
http://www.google.com/ncr
Once you open, it will set a cookie so that everytime you open Google you get the International version.
Not sure about the other websites.
Answer #5
Thanks to both of you. Thanks for the screenshots. google.com/ncr was a quick and easy method. If anyone knows of any other solution for other sites as well, a more general solution!, please do tell me.
Answer #6
As for Firefox, Tools>>Content>>Languages.
Check if English [en] is set as the primary one. If not, move English [en] on to the top.
