games crashing at start screen

July 25th, 2016

Hi guys a couple weeks ago i downloaded a game called The Amber Throne. After installing and trying to play it it crashed right before the start screen. After that I got the new batman game and it worked although my comp couldnt handle it too well, then after about 20min it said system error the following files have been moved or deleted and then it listed like 20 file paths. Then trying to restart the game it would just crash like that right away unless i uninstalled it erased the ISO, then unrarred the download and reinstalled it again. But then again after 10-20 mins the same happened. Now with almost any game i download they crash right away mostly on the start screen and some right away. This is happenening to games ive had before even, so i know its not that my comp cant handle the games there must b something else. I turned off windows defender and any anti virus in case that was the prob but no success. Does anyone know what could possibly b wrong?

first thing is first.
it may be classic but download the latest drivers for your gpu, i can give you the link for it if you write your gpu model , and your operating system either 32 or 64 bit.
if you already have the latest drivers , go to your gpu control panel and set all gpu settings to default. i can point you to the it if you tell me your gpu brand , either amd or nvidia.
antivirus software doesnt cause that kind of problem so you can enable them , actually viruses can cause this so it is also better you scan your system drive with your antivirus + malwarebytes anti malware. if you find anything remove them.
also this is summer season for the northern hemisphere with terrible temperatures which can be the problem of the crash but it shouldnt generate errors like files are moved.
Answer #2
Antivirus does have a habit of deleting any modified files including dlls and the cracked executable…
A second possibility is that your hardware can’t handle the games..Posting you system specs might be a good idea..
Answer #3
well i have a nvidia gpu and as for my system not bein able to handle the games ive tried some games that Ive had on this comp before that worked flawlessly and they do the same thing
Answer #4
i understand what you mean , thats why i told antivirus doesnt do such things. if it was just 1 game , it could be antivirus but if it even effects the games once you played , there is 2 most possible options
1- driver or some setting related problem
2- a malicious activity
you told that all started with The Amber Throne game. so it either tweaked something or have installed some kind of malicious thing. scan your C drive your current antivirus software and malwarebytes anti malware for infections , only drive C , full scan is not necessary.
then right click on desktop , click Nvidia Control Panel to start it. on control panel go to “manage 3d settings” , in the upper right corner you will see “restore to defaults ” , click it then click apply at the bottom. actually do this for every setting not only 3d , but physx and others. dont forget to click apply after restoring defaults.
keep in mind nvidia control panel uses the same language with operating system , so if your operating system is different than english , you will see those in your language.
if even after doing those , there is still problem . tell your model of nvidia gpu then we will make a fresh driver install. also remember if your room temperature is more than 30 celcius , those crashes are possible.
