Format-Delete Partition main HDD

November 30th, 2013

Hi
Wich program can u recommend me to format and delete the Partitions of my main hard drive c:
i know i could unplugged my hdd and put it on another pc . but i dont have another pc.
i tried using my win7 64 CD. but it shows the hdd as 465 gigas instead of 500gigas. and tell me this error” windows cant install on this disk, cause it could show errors on the future”
i thought that my Hdd was bad, but it isnt. i used HDD regenerator, chkdsk, and i couldnt find any problem.
now what i need is a program wich i could use to boot my pc from a cd or usb and create/delete my partitions.
thnx

“Active Boot Disk” or “Hiren’s BootCD”
also I would recommend getting the diagnostic app from the drives own website to check the drive to be sure
465 gigas instead of 500gigas
that’s normal

ES Tools – get the zip file on the left at the top, download it and extract the .ISO.
Then burn that to a cd with IMGburn “Write image file to disc” option.
You will then be able to boot from it, either change the settings in your BIOS to boot from the optical drive first (tap F2 for BIOS) or you can probably do a one time boot, usually it’s F12
