flashget how would i set it up properly my download speed

please help, its taken me 4 days to download a movie, its the first time ive used flashget. im not sure if its set up properly also whats a proxy? Im on lan broadband

flashget doesnt install with any limits on your speed/bandwidth try going to tools –> options –> connection and change the ‘conection type/speed’ to T1
it could also just be slow internet, try the flashget add on flashgit, it allows to split into 30 simultaneous parts

If your downloading from RS flashget will give u max speed, if your downloading from another source it depends on speed the source is able to provide Also the main factor is what speed connection are u on
Try the speedtest and see the results then post back–
speedtest.net
Flashgit mainly helps ppl on BR Turbo

What type of router/modem do you have? Does your ISP cap your speed after a certain amount of downloads?

you havent got not good internet speed thats why i can take a
Movie: in 5-10mins
Games: in 20-30mins
App: in Seconds
With Uk Virgin Media 10MB Speed Unlimited Downloads
