Firefox download manager won’t work

So when i try to download utorrent for example, i can’t open the exe files, eventhough firefox says it’s downloaded.
When i open the folder, where i download my files to, it isn’t in there… So what can i do?
I just reformatted my computer today, everything is newly installed.

hmm try to uninstall/reinstall again…if not try IDM/Jdownloader see if that works
