How mucht the company is big?
What products are you talking about?
The common antivirus for desktop or the enterprise grade software?
Answer #2
It also depends on how the AV is configured. No the default settings are not the most secure.

its a car dealer company that has a lot of branch and other businesses, i would like to also know if bitdefender and eset have issues on applications like does these antivirus block automatically, can they be configure to put exceptions and also which of these two AV are easy to configure to put exception
Answer #5
almost all av software has option to add exceptions so it wouldnt be problem but when it comes to need for to add exceptions , eset is better with less false positives.
on the other hand bitdefender have slightly better protection.
performance impact on system is same.
eset’s interface is simple while bitdefender’s is a little more complicated with more menus.
eset has better detection ratio for potentially unwanted applications , adware and such which are not considered as malware generally
ofc all those for consumer versions of applications , if you are going to buy enterprise edition things may be a little different but i dont think there will be much difference.
if you want to investigate by yourself

this is a good source , select your test type and choose the latest version of tests from 2015 to see the results.
Answer #6
I go for bitdefender for there good protection
Answer #7
Are you looking at the enterprise versions, cause very few people here would have any expertise with any enterprise anti-virus I’ve never personally had problems with ESET
Answer #8
You don’t need the full blown enterprise antivirus then. You can use the starting class. You are volume buying and so you will have the amount of support required to have your settings configured as you like. These antiviruses are mature and offer a great range of efficiency and configurations. You can configure exceptions without problems. If you need to know the price but don’t want to disclose the information here , you can send me a message and I can tell an approximation of how much it will costs. If you don’t want to disclose the information(number of PC per branch) to me, I will post the generic price table. I can give you informations for Kaspersky and Eset, and can make a call for bitdefender. I presume that can also help you.
In the past these contracts were complex. The situation luckily has changed but the contracts remain far more modular than the home products. You, probably, will have many things to choose, like customized support etc. etc.
The selling categories are these:

  • Small business
    from 1 to 1x PCs

  • Medium business
    from ~20 to 1000/1500

  • Large
    Over the medium size

Depending on the company you buy from, the categories may change drastically. ESET is more open with their prices, Kaspersky tends to make you contact the selling center. Whichever you choose, you will have to make some calls.
