DVD9 PROBLEM

I have a problem with The Orange Box, DETONATION release. Iso file is too large to burn it using DL DVD. So, I would like to know is there any way to make a backup:
1) Maybe some file can be removed in order to fit everything onto one DL DVD. Does anybody know what CAB file only affects Team Fortress 2? I have no intention of playing that game.
2) If above isn’t posssible I would like to know how to make DVD9 > 2XDVD5 conversion.

Simple I downloaded it too,just compress it with winrar in store mode(quickest way) and configure winrar to split it at appropriate size.

Ok, but then I should extract again everything to hard drive when i want to install the game. There must be some better way!
