Dual Layer DVD reading 7.9gb

My Dual layer DVD’s drive read a Dual layer DVD at 7.9 GB.
I need to copy and Iso that is 8.4Gb.
Any Idea on what might be going on?
Windows vista 64Bit.
Says software is up to date.

8.5GB = 8,500,000,000 bytes
8,500,000,000 bytes / 1,073,741,824 bytes per GB = 7.91 GB
Gigabyte =/= Gibibyte

prozac hit it on the head…what exactly is it that your trying to burn? a PC game? you can mount it w/o burning

My Mistake It’s 7.6 GB not 7.9.
I am trying to burn a Cad Flie so I can install it.
It comes in 3 DVd’s Maybe first 2 being at 7.99gb.
I downloaded the file’s (47) What is the difference Between Mount and Burn?

Mounting is putting the image on a virtual drive…You can then install the app. from there..

You can make 3 drives if you need them all accessible at once.

Well thanks.
Didn’t get to far with it. I had to uninstall it and tried to reinstall the 64bit.
But everytime I clicked on the Download link it just went back to the main page.

You can use UltraISO for mounting ISO’s, a lot easier than Daemon Tools
