Dragon Age is making my computer run hot.?

I built my own computer about 6 months ago. I can run modern games such as CoD5, Tomb raider Latest 1, WOW,No prob’s etc. My specs Amd Dual Core @ 2.8 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, Vista 32-bit, ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2, and a Seagate 750 GB hard drive @ 7200. So I run Dragon Age and my CPU temperature rises to about 61c in a minute. I quit the game and it goes back down to 31 C in a minute. I play all my other games without worry about overheating(stay at 55c) but this one game runs my cpu too hot !!! . I don’t want to run it over a long period of time to see if it will get any hotter. Is there some work around or problem I don’t know about for this game?

You should check how much CPU usage is the game eating.

you will be fine as long as it doesn’t go over 75c but i would go buy a better cpu fan and tower fan

Hi , after a few days now of testing other games etc (but also getting program 2 read cpu usage) no overheating just this 1 game, cpu usage is at 100% ! the other games 70 – 75% is this a bug in game ? iv’e got the spec’s to run the game !!! can’t understand 1st time ever this has happend !!

same thing … cpu usage is 100% , i am using win 7

well first of all read the requirements:
Recommended Specifications
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz Processor or equivalent
RAM: 4 GB (Vista) or 2 GB (XP)
Video: ATI 3850 512 MB or greater
NVIDIA 8800GTS 512 MB or greater
DVD ROM (Physical copy)
20 GB HD space
the game is obviously a CPU eater

, are you sure about recommend specs for the CPUs ?
In the readme file it says that recommended specs is
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz processor or equivalent, AMD Phenom II X2 Dual-Core 2.7 GHz or greater
