dragon age origins

the game installed okay and it runs and enters the first screen but…
when i press play on the entry screen its a black screen whats wrong.
it used to run fine but had to reinstall system and now this problem, all drivers seem to be in order
running on win xp sp3, dont remebr cpu and graphics card 8400gt nvidia

Did u reinstall the game after you reinstalled the system?

update to latest DirectX at MS
