Converting and burning dvds

Is there an better alternative to converting and burning DVDs than convertxtodvd?? Recently a few copies i have burned are abit jumpy and cut out after a wee while
Thanks in advance

Answer #1
Try freemake converter, or update convertxtodvd or downgrade if you’ve already got version 5, as some don’t like the newer version.
Answer #2
Hmmm it’s only started when I updated it too, I’ll try that thanks
Answer #3
V 5 of convertx is crap – many people have complained about noisy images and film cutting out.
Stick with 4.2.x.x

thanks for the heads up guys, i had 4 for the longest time and upgraded 5 as soon as it came out…i still use it for a friend who has no cable right now and she said the movies been skippin on some of them…we never had a problem before..im going to downgrade

Sometimes it pays to keep an older version of programs you upgrade, just for occasions like this.
I only used V5 once and on first look at new set up i liked it.
But when i burnt a dvd to it, it put the menus of dvd at the end of the movie and not at the beginning.
It was an ISO, so complete movie.
