Comodo Firewall defence plus

Hi, I am currently using Microsoft Security Essentials and downloaded Comodo Firewall (after advice on this forum). However, with the download there is a firewall and also this thing called Defense Plus. Do I need this? Is it recommended to have this on? Thanks…

It depends whether you need the extra security for your computer.
With higher security, also comes degraded performance.

If you aren’t stupid enough to get viruses, MSE is all you really need. Seeing that you already have a decent anti-virus and an add on firewall, you probably won’t need it.
Whether you do enable it or not, it shouldn’t change much.
