Hello everyone im having a problem. I moved to vista and I can’t seem to get this to work. With XP I had Total Commander Ultima Prime because ive used Total Commander since I was 4 years old, well with Total Commander I could highlight any archive and hit copy and it would actually unpack it. Well now I can’t seem to do that. Like with a game that has say 30 rar’s I would just highlight the first rar and hit copy and it would extract all 30 rar’s to complete the game ISO. Now I cannot do that can anyone help me configure Total commander Ultima prime to do that? It makes it so much easier instead of using win rar to do everything when it can do it on its own. PS : Please don’t say comments like “Use Winrar it PWNS!!!” I know the power of Winrar but Total commander can do the same thing I just cannot remember how to configure it to do that.

I use TotalCommander 7.03. I don’t know about UltimaPrime so I’ll tell you what I have here.
I go to “Configurations” tab>options>packer. You can modify the “archive” options from there. Once you see the page you’ll know what to do.
I use the external “rar.exe” with “right-click menu(keyboard command)>extract here” from within the TotalCommander.

I just installed UltimaPrime. I used this version a few months ago only for a week or two and I remember doing like you said, copy and extract at the same time.
Well…It doesn’t seem I can make it do it now… Sorry,man…

Thanks for the help im starting to think they may have either updated total commander Ultima Prime and messed up that feature or they removed the feature. I spent a good 3 hours last night before orginially posting this topic and could not figure it out. Im using the latest version so maybe I will revert to a previous version.

id just go for a fresh install. backing up all important data and reinstall the OS. Much less trouble than looking around for what can be causing the prob. at least IMO. Nowadays u can install an OS and all apps in 1~2 hours so shouldnt be that long i think

Format on system partition didnt help, and I dont feel like burning 300+ GB of files or transferring then anywhere else to format whole hdd, providing that I have no freaking idea where the trojan is located so I can basically just copy it back after I reinstall the system lolz

I am aware of that, but since I cant acces the regedit I cant do anything about it. Its the &%*(*$ trojan that disables all that, prolly called ‘hijack.taskmanager’ and ‘hijack.regedit’

Disable or close any on-access scanners (Kaspersky,etc) Download Combofix to your desktop and run it. Close any open applications and run Combofix. Do not perform other operations until it finishes. It may ask for a reboot, allow it to do so. After it is done, it will produce a log. Paste back the contents ( Pastebin you are using has a problem with word wrap, lines weren’t split properly) directly to the forum or upload the file to mediafire.

Chances are if you got an un removabale trojan you got other stuff that you dont know about. Reformat is the best option in my opinion.

1.Do a quick scan with malwarebytes, fix anything it finds and paste back the resulting log.
2.Download RSIT to your desktop and run it. Press continue (1 month) and paste back contents of resulting log.txt

5) Find whats causing issue and check it
6) Hit fix issues at bootom
7) reboot into safe mode
8) do full spyware check (preferably with spybot)

do it out of safe mode then. Hijackthis is the best tool to delete things ever, also points to malicious files loactions which is usefull.

aha, check in hijackthis, then fix. Then navigate to the DIR (so take a note before you fix) and see if its still there, shouldn’t be. Then do a spybot / malwarebytes check

It seems something is restoring executables to temp, which keep changing registry keys. Download Hitman Pro and scan. It uses various AV engines, let’s hope it finds what I am missing

Uncheck “Allow Indexing Service to index this disk for fast file searching.” Next, apply changes to “C: subfolders and files,” and click OK. If a warning or error message appears (such as “Access is denied”), click the Ignore All button.
Adjust XP for best performance. Right Click on My Computer. Select Properties. Click on the Advanced Tab. Under the Performance Group Box, click on Settings Select Adjust for best performance. Click OK
Those two things should increase speed and performance significantly.

– It’s an old PC RPG game, like +-7 years ago
– I believe the main character named ‘zak’ or something
– The view is like RTS where you click to move rather than using WASD
– Game is 3D, camera can be rotated
– You can sneak by crawling on the ground, sneak attack do more damage
– To me, it’s pretty hard game, I quicksave/load a lot
– When fighting the enemy, you can choose where to aim
– – head : will likely miss but does more damage
– – right/left arm : hit these to disarm the enemy
– – right/left leg : attack these to limit movement of enemy
– – center body : will likely hit but it’s not the weak point
– You can get companion, but because the experience is shared (IIRC) I just sell whatever the inventory they have and have them wait in town
– Monster does not respawn, chest and loot doesn’t restock
– There is spell called fortify strength or something, your body will get pumped and the strength goes up, and there’s imbued item also which has fortify strength built-in so it will autocast so long as you wear that armor
– In one chapter you lose all your inventory (in the desert, raided by some people) but eventually you’ll get them back
I stuck at the chapter where you teleported to astral room and after that the game just crashes, maybe because I use the ripped version of it I don’t know.

Hey there guys,
I`m trying to burn a 700 / 800 mb movie (Dvd rip) to Dvd with nero vision 7,so that i can play it on my DvD player.
But I have noticed that the end result is that the sound / audio is quite low when i play it in the player.
Now my question is: Is there a way for nero vision to encode
the sound a bit louder without losing image quality. If nero vision cant
do this is there some other software that could?.
Or is there a better prog than Nero to convert into Dvds?

If It’s an *.avi then it would be best to use “ConvertXtoDvd” I have had no problemS with sound when I use this program for converting to DVD. The latest version is available in the Apps Forum.

the problem with low sound is not generally the programs fault but rather the fact that the file you where trying to burn was in “ac3” surround sound format. Nero does not support this and will output this as mp3. As “” has pointed out convertxtodvd will do the job as it supports ac3 and will convert avi to dvd with surround sound.
also make sure you have the latest ac3 filter, its free just google it.
