Cant change properties on music file

i have two folders of songs that I downloaded and I am trying to add the name of the artist to them but cant. I have not only clicked on properties > and under attributes unchecked read only a couple of times but I have also clicked on the security tab and has the user able to have full control of the file but its not working. Can someone help me with this? Thanks

Are the files “Read only” ?
Right click > Properties. Uncheck Read Only if it is showing, then Apply > OK
It’s usually something simple like this which is overlooked. Good luck
