Can’T boot the Uncharted 3 RIP? I’ve found the solution

Hi all,
I noticed there are some people (including me) who can’t get past the first Uncharted 3 (30gb rip) loading screen.
After a lot of searching and trying, it turned out the solution was rather simple.
You see, the RIP version of the game doen’t have all language files. When the game boots up it wan’t to start the game in the language ur system is set in.
To make the game boot up you have to change the system language to English.

I own a ps3 but not a jailbroken ps3. And I yes I wud b happy to get the game workin.
Shud rename topic to something like “uncharted 3 simple fix”

No because then people will think this topic contains the famous fix to get the journal working, wich can be found everywhere. So it has to be more specific

thankyou – I cannot get any version (downloaded both ripped/precracked and full) to get passed the spinning ring loading screen. PS3 is fat version, set to english 3.55, 2.00.03 mulitman.
load uncharted in mulitman, start game, spining ring for 5 second, please wait screen 1 secound, back to dash. everytime – anyone any advise please.
Both from internal and external.

Have u tried to delete the gamedata? maybe the gamedata is corrupted. I also read somewhere about someone with a similar problem as you. He fixed it by simply using GAIAmanager instead of multiman.

thanks for the advise but its hasnt helped. Deleting the game data and launching again gives a black screen that never stops (left for 10mins just in case) same with Gaia 2.07 manager. Only thing I canthink is different is that my bluray play is broken – wonder if this is a factor somehow.

Normally it isn’t. I confirmed that Uncharted 3 runs diskless without a problem.
