Cant boot from cd
February 6th, 2020
I have a problem,, when i restart my pc and try boot from my cd nothing happends, it just start windows normal.. Is there anything i have to press so it can boot from the cd?
thx in advance
You have to go into your Bios settings and change the boot priority In most computers you have to press DEL button while the computer starts , in other computers it F10
your computer is set to boot from the hard drive, you need to hit del,f10 (depends on the computer), and go change the boot priority to load your cd drive before your hard drive.
Watch for a “press any key to boot from cd” during boot time , which you will see if cd boot is set in bios
You may have to reset your boot sequence if the pc is not set to read your slave devices upon boot.
Go into Bios, (usually F2, Escape, or del at boot time), then find your boot sequence selection, and select CD as your first boot location.
