Can you add a camera to this tv? Vizio E422VLE

Hi I am about to buy a tv very soon because my old one broke and it said it has a skype app so does that mean the tv can support a camera or has one on it or does it mean only skype talking on tv I don’t get how it works please tell me thanks and here is the link.

Since it is a ‘smart’ TV, you can buy a camera and hook up to someone with skype. Download the manual for the TV and read about the Smart TV functions. Now that/they all depend on if you have a wireless router for the TV to connect with – and for best connection be about 15 or so feet from it. I have the Smart TV function on one of my TV’s (an LG) and that’s what it says in my manual…but you do need to buy a USB type camera like the ones that are at Bestbuy.

i just got the samsung thin led 46 inch smart tv, with 3d, and you can hook up a camera to it, it was only 856.00 on amazon, i have a vizio 42 inch tv, i like it, but this samsung blows away the vizio, just a suggestion.

Your vizio tv is only capable of doing Skype ling using the vizio xcv100 camera.

Nope you can’t use the samsung camera for the Vizio TV.
Its out of stock in the Vizio store but you can check out amazon, ebay etc.
