Buying a new laptop – advice needed!

August 2nd, 2016

I have decided I need a new laptop as mine is nearly 5 years old (on boxing day) and I am struggling to cope with the 512 meg of ram I have in it!
As it has been quite some time since I bought a new comp i was after some advice re processors etc, not really kept up with the new ones so a bit confused by it all, there seem to be so many now, dual core, quad core, i3 i5 etc, so not really sure what i should be looking for.
Basically i want something decent for about 500 or less preferably, brand is not that important but i would want at least 3gig of ram, any ideas on where i should look, either in shops (i am in the UK) or online.

You must choose the i-Series Laptop because its very reliable and fast…… For A Review choosing between i3 and i5 please read the topic on this link……

Re branding an Old P.C is always not considered a Good Choice so this is a vague Idea…. Must consider this article before you go to buy a new one…. If you please describe your budget then it will be more helpful to you……
Regards….

Budget would be 500 or less
Answer #3
What will you be using it for? Get a super duper fast processor is overkill if your gonna use the laptop to surf the net, listen to music, watch some movies. Where as if you are going to use it for gaming or the like you should get a super duper fast processor.
Also is it PC or Laptop you are looking for? Amazon are gonna have some killer days next Friday. (Because of Black Friday in America). Also, you could wait till after crimbo and have a look during the New Year sales.
Answer #4
Well i need to get it before new year as the VAT goes up here after 1st jan so it would cost a lot more, I do play some games but nothing too graphics intensive, it is mainly for surfing, photo editing, music etc
