Burning a CD with iTunes (Audio CD? or MP3 CD?)

May 13th, 2020

Ok I tag my music myself so its got album art and the correct track names etc. Which option is the best to use when burning? Audio CD has an option to tick to unlude CD text and I think MP3 CD will add those anyway.
When I burn MP3 CD’s, they don’t work in the car but audio CD’s do. The problem with audio CD’s even with the CD text option enabled, I’m pretty sure if I remember correctly the track names didn’t appear when I played them on the computer but they did in the car.
A friend wants some music burned to a cd, whats the best option to use? Not sure if hes playing it in a car or on a pc.

Audio cd can be played on normal cd players … mp3 cd’s can only be played on players that support mp3s… mp3 cd’s hold alot more music so maybe you can make your buddy an mp3 cd and if he doesnt have an mp3 player he can just make an Audio cd from the disc you give him on his pc!
