Borderlands Glitch help fast please!

Hey guys so i recently just got borderlands. And really like the game. Play online with my friends all the time and what not. But heres the problem (don’t know if this happens in solo campaing because i haven’t played solo yet). When i play co-op online for a bit the enemies, the drops, the weapon crates, my allies, and etc (Mostly all except scenary) will just dissapear. But will eventually show up after a long time. Example. I will be fighting a dude and than all of a sudden he will dissapear, but than re-appear in like 2 minutes but stiff (like arms straight out, and move around with no movment). But what seems to fix it, for a shot little while (and im talking like 5 minutes max) is just leaving the game and re-starting it up. No one else is having this problem except me so i don’t know whats going on here. If anyone could help me out on this, or need more information, just post it here and it would be greatly appreciated Btw i don’t know if i said this before but its for the Xbox 360!

i smell lag !!! is it the only game that dose that or there is others ?
and whats the speed of ur internet connection ?

Nah i fixed the problem..
What was the problem from what i believe is when my friend hosted the game i wouldn’t receive the information from him fast enough so the guys wouldn’t apear and what not.
And how i fixed it was just either find a different friend to host or i hosted it (which was easier)

its generally best to find out who has the highest speed internet connection and lives closest. it wouldn’t be a very smart idea if say, 7 americans each with 100mb connections were playing and someone like me, an aussie with 1.5mb/s, was hosting. you would get the same results as what happened when my friend and i created a halo 1 (long time ago) match and set it up so 2 others could join in, here is an example of what was said

enemy1: "whats with this game"
friend: "working fine here, whats wrong"
enemy1: "everyone is walking and then they magically teleport"
me: "im not getting it"
enemy2: "i smell hax"
me: "there are no hacks"
enemy1&2: "cheater, im going to log in and out just to annoy you"
me: "reported after 2 mins of this"
enemy 1&2: "noes!!!!!"
