Blue Screen During Win 7 Installation

February 1st, 2020

I am getting PFN_LIST_CORRUPT , IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen when I tried to install new windows 7 in mine old system.Mine motherboard gone bad in that, thats why I replaced it with gigabyte g41m.Mine processor is e8400,and i have 2 sticks of 1 gb ddr 2 ram and one Graphics card ati 5470.I have 2 hard disks of 500 gb in that.I have tried it after removing graphics card, one Hdd at a time an one ram at a time, but I keep getting those. So what should I do now?

Few things:
1. Reset the BIOS – Disconnect the power cord and remove the motherboard battery, Leave it out for at least 10 mins, Put it back in (with the + sign on top) reconnect the power cord and power up, Enter BIOS and load defaults or optimized defaults. Re-adjust the time/date/boot order too.
2. Make sure your RAM is set to the correct timings & voltage, If unsure, Take a stick out and see what it says, If the timings and voltage don’t appear on it, Then Google for the exact model.
3. Verify your RAMs integrity using memtest:

4. Check your HDDs with the manufacturer diagnostic tool (which should be bootable btw – so no OS needed)
5. If your RAM/HDDs are in the clear, Then I’d suspect a bad copy or a faulty optical drive.
Download an untouched copy:
Windows 7 Ultimate x86 SP1 / CRC: 35511F11
http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-59463.iso
Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 / CRC: 992B8FCD
http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-59465.iso
Verify the CRC with quicksfv:
http://www.quicksfv.org/download.html
Just right click the ISO>Create SFV file>Open the SFV file with notepad and compare the hash.
If it’s anything else than the above, Then from whatever reason your download was corrupted and you’ll have to re-download! Anyways, It’s generally common knowledge that you should use the 32bit version (x86) if you have less than 4 gigs of RAM and 64bit (x64) if you got 4GB or more, But if you wanna keep your options open, Install the 64bit version, That way, If you’ll add more RAM later down the road, You wouldn’t need to reinstall! Anyways, Use M$ Win7>USB tool to put it on a flash drive (has to be of 4GB minimum) http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool
Naturally your gonna have to set the boot order accordingly as well, If you see the flash drive
by model then choose that, Otherwise, Choose USB-HDD. Anyways, If things go well, Don’t input any serial when asked (just skip) and when your all done, Use the latest windows loader to activate it:

Don’t just run it, Extract first, Then right click>Run as admin.
