Best distro for alienware m17x r3

i am new to alienware m17x r3 and i tried dual booting windows 7 and opensuse 12.1, however the only problem i encountered is that it didnt recognize the sound card, which is the IDT sound card. i have tried other distros but still could not solve the sound issue. anyone who does know how to address my problem? thanks in advance
