I have been using it and my pc is as fast as it was from the day I purchased my pc scene it I have installed loads of softwares and games but no virus,
Even you buy any other anti virus make sure you run a full system scan once a month

According to top 10 reviews its Bit defender, but from personal experience, the new Norton 2011 is better, doesn’t slow the system, regular updates, reports, easy to use and quick installation and with the trial re-setter no issue of black listing..

There is no best really and these days you need more than just an anti-virus program. You need a combination like wo_Ot is using.
For me it’s:
Avast + Malwarebytes + Comodo firewall + Firefox with Adblock Plus and NoScript Add-ons With all that I never have any virus problems.
